Lando Norris Leads Oscar Piastri in Brazilian Practice
The British driver has beaten Oscar Piastri at all of the previous five race weekends.
The McLaren driver narrowly beat team-mate and championship contender Oscar Piastri for the fastest time in the dying seconds of the practice session at the Sao Paulo Grand Prix.
The British racer, who took the points lead from his teammate by one point after taking the win in Mexico City a fortnight back, topped the Melbourne-born driver by a mere 0.023s.
Before then, Piastri had been the quickest of the McLaren pair during the running before sprint qualifying due at 6:30 PM GMT.
The Red Bull star, the other racer in the championship fight, trailing 36 points behind behind Norris, ended up in 17th position as his team opted for a alternative strategy.
