In a surprising crossover event that breaks usual forecasts, the game developer has revealed an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

According to the authorized release, "A strange meeting pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where hints of prohibited ceremonies and fearsome changes reverberate through the darkness." The plot introduces a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a clandestine sect.
The questline concentrates on "strange experiments and a monstrous foe" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Transformations
The trailer highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages.
